WebSep 8, 2013 · Use a fluid bed. Lots of how to tutorials on how to make one. Very easy, just do a search on here. I use a heat gun to heat my jigs but some use a propane torch. For me the heat gun is best and heat is more controllable. After you powder coat tap the jig on the side of your fluid bed to remove excess powder paint. WebMar 23, 2009 · I pretty much do the same thing. I paint several hundred jigs at one time. So I load up the tray in the toaster oven, usually 100-150 1/4 or 3/8oz jigs. My first choice would be D2T (Devxcon 2 Ton). It's downright good stuff when it cures with one coat coverage. The only drawback, is that if have a white jig, the clearcoat will subdue the white. My second choice would be E-tex (Envirotex light). Excellent clearcoat for white jigs.
