E36 bmw convertible top not working
WebAug 6, 2011 · E36 soft top not working! dead! bought an e36 recently (was told the soft top doesnt work), when trying to operate the soft top the soft top doesnt make any noise nor movements what so ever! it is really frustrating as i have tried the following. Checked the boot switch made sure it wasnt touching earth. checked all the fuses next to the battery. Web98 328i convertible top not working. light keeps flashing. seems like it is getting no power. just got it back from a bmw dealer a month ago from having it fixed. ... I have used the manual process behind the rear seat to try to put the top back up but the roof stops 6-8 inches from the windshield but will not go any farther, even using the hex key in the front. I cannot even force it down.
